About LKMV Faculty
The faculty at L.K. Mahavihdyalaya Matric School is made up of a talented and nurturing group of dedicated early childhood educators. Each classroom has one Class Teacher and one to two Co-Teachers, depending on the size of the class. The Class Teacher has a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, while most have a Master’s Degree or are pursuing a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. The Co-Teachers all have extensive experience in early childhood education. All team members collaborate together to create a cohesive and joyful classroom.
In addition to classroom teachers, the preschool also has an art teacher and music teacher who provide enrichment programming for our students. These specialists are experienced in their areas of expertise and provide an alternate mode of expression for the children outside of the classroom, as well as a way to complement the work within the classroom. Our teachers are carefully selected based on experience, education, and dedication to a progressive and collaborative approach to education.
We value a diverse faculty and celebrate their individual styles. We share a common vision that is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to learning. Our teachers are lifelong learners themselves, always seeking opportunities to extend their knowledge of educational philosophy and best practices, taking time to reflect on their own performance, and offering feedback to colleagues throughout the year.
To support the faculty and families in our school, there are many talented administrative and support personnel who are equally invested in the success of our children. From the main office, maintenance, and admissions staff, you will find that our children will come to know them all by name. To echo and build upon the collaboration that is demonstrated by the teaching teams, the support staff works directly with the faculty to provide interconnected services to our students and families.
